Why Spryng doesn’t prescribe configurations
Spryng is designed to support responsible judgment, not automate it.
Most platforms recommend templates because they assume:
- Problems are stable
- Context is knowable upfront
- Best practices transfer cleanly
Active Sensemaking works in complex human systems, where those assumptions fail.
In these contexts:
- The same configuration can be ethical in one situation and harmful in another
- Early certainty often hides weak signals
- Expert interpretation can unintentionally erase lived meaning
That’s why we:
- Orient before we exemplify
- Surface trade-offs instead of prescribing answers
- Treat configurations as examples, not solutions
We use matched starting hypotheses, then run learning loops: make meaning visible, test small safe-to-try changes, revisit the same views, and adjust with evidence.
Wisdom in complex systems comes from seeing clearly, not choosing quickly.
AI language boundary
Spryng uses AI to help surface patterns across stories at scale. Meaning-making, interpretation, and decisions begin and end with humans.
